Mr. Johnson was raised in Pontotoc County and graduated from Byng High School. He attended East Central University where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Counseling. He began his employment at Vanoss School after working for two years in Psychiatric hospitals in OKC and Ft. Smith Arkansas and two years as the Pontotoc County Youth Shelter Counselor.
