Mrs. Janet Blocker

Superintendent, Mrs. Janet Blocker graduated for Prague High School, Lincoln County, in 1981. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Oklahoma Baptist University and her Master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has been superintendent of Vanoss Public Schools since July 1, of 2008. Her husband Curtis is employed by Tinker Air Force Base. They have three sons. Chad, an Ag teacher at Sentinel, is married and has two daughters with his wife Jennifer. Todd is currently completing his Masters in Safety Management and lives in Fairview with his wife Mandy. Lance and his wife Cayla live in Hobart where Lance is the head HS girls basketball coach. Mrs. Blocker states that her primary goal at Vanoss Public School is to ensure that each student reaches his/her academic potential and develops a strong self image.
